Asparagus fortune teller claims 2024 will see a royal divorce, a female US president and an Olympic flop

An asparagus throwing fortune teller who foresaw the Queen’s death has revealed that 2024 will see a royal divorce and a woman become US president.

Jemima Packington, 67, is the world’s only asparamancer and claims she can peer into the future by tossing spears in the air and interpreting how they land.

She has previously predicted Brexit, the Queen’s death, Covid continuing to be a threat, and the Harry and Meghan storm engulfing the royals.

The psychic’s 2023 tips that came true also included some supermarkets rationing food after a bad harvest, continuing strikes and a jubilant King’s Coronation.

Jemima, from Bath, Somerset, has now revealed her 2024 top tips, which include royal divorces, world leader deaths and Team GB flopping at the Olympics in Paris.

The tipster also foresees the US electing the first woman president, denying both Joe Biden and Donald Trump a second run in the White House.

In UK politics, Jemima revealed a return of another previous leader to the spotlight.

The prediction comes after ex-PM David Cameron was sensationally brought back into government as Foreign Secretary.

Jemima also believes that celebrity culture will be on the wane and a raft of TV stars will lose their jobs.

The fortune teller said she reads the shapes of the asparagus spears as they land and boasts and impressive 70-95 per cent accuracy rate.

Despite her eerily accurate predictions, some of her 2023 tips fell short.

She incorrectly tipped England’s Lionesses to win the football World Cup when they lost 1-0 to Spain in a heartbreaking final last August.

Additionally, she predicted Chelsea would become a major footballing force yet the team sit 10th in the Premier League after a disappointing start to the season.

Jemima also said that Princess Anne would suffer a health scare. However, she has continued to be one of the most hard-working royals and is now set to undertake a tour of Sri Lanka.

The 67-year-old began making predictions as a child after inheriting the gift from her aunt who used to read tea leaves.

‘My technique has not changed and I still cast the asparagus spears and interpret the patterns in them,’ she explained.

‘Seeing the patterns for me is instantaneous, possibly that is because I’ve had years of practice.

‘I am usually about 75-90 per cent accurate with my predictions. I go through my predictions each year and think “yep, that’s happened, yep, that’s happened”.

‘Occasionally I get one slightly off, where I haven’t quite read it correctly, but I’m never far off.

‘I predicted Boris Johnson would become Prime Minister before he did and everyone laughed their socks off.’

She picks a handful of tips, tosses them into the air and ‘reads’ the shapes they form when they land.

The psychic said she saw the spears of the veg form the shape of a broken crown just months before the Queen died on September 8, 2022.

‘The spears formed a broken crown which indicated to me that there would be a great royal sadness,’ she said.

‘When I saw pictures of the Queen welcoming Liz Truss as PM I noticed how frail she looked and I said to my friend “it won’t be long now”.’

In 2021, Jemima also correctly predicted Christmas would be severely curtailed, which turned out to be true as the country battled to contain the spread of Covid.

Jemima uses fresh Worcestershire asparagus grown in the Vale of Evesham – the UK’s main supplier of the vegetable.
